Many thanks OZ, if I could keep the coral I would Definately make a permanent base like this for it, I only considered doing it for fun but I quite like it myself. I had a look at some fish tank supplies today at our local garden centre but I couldn't find anything suitable.

This is what modeling is about, clever thinking, one nice piece of coral and a diver figure brought together on a small base...I love it!

Thanks AG and Sty, for me the fact that it had been buried in our garden for 15+ years and has been re-borne (figuratively) speaking and was close to being thrown away again says it all for me, just a fun unexpected happening
