Have you ever cracked the clear plastic window or messed it up with super glue beyond help? Here is an easy way to fix it by making a replacement window... also good for when you chop the top of a hotrod or have a resin kit with no windows.
Use masking tape to cover inside of window area, then trace border of window from the inside with a little edge to glue with a pencil.
Place tape (with pencil lines) on .010 or .020 Clear Plastic Sheet, cut out tracing with scissors.
Remove tape and place the clear window inside the body.
Use small drops of Glue (use a tooth pick) to set the window in several points.
* Use Accelerator on another tooth pick for faster dry time *
Then add a bead of Glue to all the edges........ it's that easy !

Not good to use Super Glue on Clear Plastic, because it can fog the plastic while curing.

It hasn't done that on me but you could use a good white glue or canopy cement that dries clear!!! I took super glue off for you Bruce! LOL!!!

Easiest way to use superglue on clear plastic and not get fogging is to paint the clear plastic with future (or your choice of gloss, clear drying, floor wax) before you superglue it into position.Or take a tip from the train guys and use clear enamel varnish as the adhesive, I've used Humbrol enamel gloss varnish for that very purpose for years without problems. just paint it in around the inside edges of the window before inserting the glazing.
best OB 😉
