Hey all! I've been unable to touch a model in about 18 months. I've worked from home for about 9 months of the last 13 and stayed busier than if I was going to the office. I'm in a new position at the university: Data Systems/Reporting Analyst--which as my manager says: I'm the "swiss army knife" of Enterprise Data Systems. (I develop SQL procedures, functions, objects, write WebFOCUS reports, build web pages, develop documentation etc) Beyond work, my wife calls me her "house husband" because while she's at work and I'm working from home, I use my breaks to do laundry, vacuum, load the dishwasher, etc.
To start 2021 though, this year we will remodel 5 of the 7 rooms in our home (we did the other 2 about 2 years ago). 2 of the 5 rooms are bathrooms and I've been working on the worst one for 2 months (as well as my home office and the bedroom of our last "at home" daughter). We live in a mobile home, so we have to account for "mobile home" construction. Ours has good 2x8 floors and 2x6 exterior walls, but typically, the interior walls are 3". So as we remodel, we're eliminating some of that and "improving".
I know many of you probably aren't on FaceBook and I'm currently re-working my website for business so I've shared a Facebook album so you all can hopefully see the current project. The link is here: The current remodel
Once this project is done, I have to take some time to work on some code for my small business, then build a 16'x16' powered workshop out back, then back to another bathroom and master bedroom. HOPEFULLY by September/October, my home office and workshop will be done, so I can breathe and work on models a bit!
