Unable to get any painting done over the weekend so I took Joe's advice to concentrate on one model at a time and started another one 😳😬😂😂😂😂 my son bought me this for my birthday last November and I couldn't keep telling him I had other stuff to do so here it is so far.I do have the wheels done but the picture won't save properly for some reason. 1/35 with a few gaps to fill which I wasn't expecting as I thought Academy were better but hay ho!!  |

No Joe, he had a go at Warhammer many years ago and we had some painting sessions but he got bored, he's 27 now and is dabbling in ceramics which has been delayed by covid and learning the guitar which he's doing quite well at. He recently ordered a large figure, maybe 120mm of I think Hellboy which he is going to paint, I'll put pics up as and when if he lets me!! |

Haha, all on his own terms I can assure you all,besides from 16 onwards he was bigger than me and a black belt at a form of Karate and helping to teach adults, I know which side my breads buttered! 😂😂

LOL, I'm sure you both enjoy one another's company very much even if your hobbies differ!!! My son builds but planes and now that big USS Missouri I gave to him... he has essential tremors so his building time is limited to when the shaking isn't so bad for painting but he does a great job!!! I only know of one car he built and that was a Ford Mustang group build with me and Fightnjoe... it turned out well!!!

I take him walking when we can, he likes me to take him places I've been to whilst in the army, our last walk covered an area and routes used by the SAS in Wales,obviously without the weight and speed they require!! Our next aim is to do The Fan Dance together, google it and you'll see what all the fuss is about if you've ever heard it mentioned

Anybody doing junior or senior Battle Courses will do this, and believe me we are encouraged to do this in not the moste polite way to get it done!! If you stay in the forces long enough to do bothe courses then yes you do it twice!!!! |
