Jimmy's posts seemed a bit lonely, so here's a bit of stuff that lays about the house these days The Ruger collection. None are collector's items, they all get used for hunting and plinking I've got no Ruger defensive handguns as I am addicted to Glocks for such tasks Regards, Mark

I have, they are phenominal. Spendy but as soon as you pull the trigger you can tell where where your extra money's gone. Ruger revolver triggers have always been marginal at best but here lately they have upped their game; the Super Redhawk above has a shockingly good DA pull and the SA pull is as good as any Smith I have ever picked up. The GP 100 and the SP 101 both needed help in the form of some stoning and Wolff spring packs which improved the former immensley but did not do as much for the latter. It still suffers from a bit of coil mainspring stackiness on the DA pull.
The thing about Ruger revolvers is they are very hard to blow up. Not impossible of course, never underestimate the ingenuity of an idiot. I feed the .44 a regular diet of bear grade handloads that would have had a Smith or Colt in the high grade scrap bucket in its first year. I don't know about a Korth but will never know as I am not going to spend $5,000 on a revolver. The Ruger keeps eating these with no complaint whatsoever.

Nice stable you got there Mark. I used to have a Ruger Single Six with .22 mag and LR cylinders. Wish I'd kept it. Sorry about your affliction of liking Glocks, I'm a Sig man myself LOL.

All personal prefrence OJ, nothing at all wrong with a SIG other than an unjustifiably high price. Some years back I had a P 226 in .357 SIG and while it was a fine pistol I have never really been able to warm to a traditional double action. At the time I paid around $850 for this, and a Glock 32 was going for under $500. I've not checked SIG prices lately but I can only imagine what they are in the current climate.
