Beek if you want to build a semi and not want to kill yourself halfway through the build Italeri offers a 1/24 line of American tractors that aren't near as awful as the letter kits. I'd recommend their Freightliner FLC as it's the most accurate. It will, however, require some scratching to fill out missing detail and get rid of some toylike parts. If I recall correctly I scratched the tanks, stacks, and added the air lines...it's been awhile so I really can't say for sure. Revell also offers a Kenworth K 100 Aerodyne cabover that did not give me too much trouble. Not sure if either of these builds are recorded here.
It was 62 degrees with a 10 mph wind here today, the bench suffered because I was out PD hunting most of the day and will be tomorrow as well. Too nice out, sez I, to be huddled in the basement with plastic. Will update on plastic soon's I get some measurable differences made
