Probably y'all thought I was dead. I am not. Modeling has, however, been quite intermittent over the past six months and I have been chasing this along bit by bit. It's an MPC Mack DM 600 in 1/25th which has been rather difficult to get to this stage as the car guys here will know The cab and frame are OOB and the cargo bed is scratched   Base is in progress, and figures were difficult to come by altho I did find some that are also in progress. This truck looks pretty impressive. The tarp looks spot on real but in fact the whole truck does! Congrats bud!

Welcome back and way to go n such a masterful build! Zod would indeed be thrilled. I'm also slowly working on my build for Zod and Carl. Thanks for the kick in the pants I need to get back to it.

Thanks gents Mark I don't have a leg to stand on either as it's been over a year since I began the first project for Carl Finished. The figures are from ICM, an offering I did not know the had until loafing thru the internet one lazy day. 1/25 scale figures are not as easy to paint as I thought they might be but these assembled quite well and are molded nice and sharp, something I did not expect from ICM who has apparently upped their game substantially.     And there we are. I assume Zod, being a driver, was familiar with these old U series Macks...probably drove one or two in his time Regards, Mark |

Brilliant job Mark! That is an amazing truck, well worthy of Chad! (Zod)
If I recall his stories well enough, yes, he did drive this type of truck. He said it felt like he was wrestling a bear; especially on worn out roads. Man I wish I could remember more of his stories; he had me laughing!
