Going to do this by the end of the dead-line. Thanks to Joe for the Coke cases. Parts are from the Meister Brau kit. I'm also gonna post more tomorrow. I made (what I think is) my choice.

Speaking of Meister Brau, I have three tractors in my head. A mini and two modified (multi engine). One modified is wild the other is extreme. I'll be looking for some advice from the aviation group here when I get to that point. I don't work today so I'm going to try to get started. Kits I'll be building: The train will come later.

I have the two modifieds under way. In case you aren't up on the sport the design has changed since the Meister Brau days. They now use small front tires. I've accumulated a few, what I believe are, 1/43 scale die-casts that I've taken the wheels from (pic 2). I may redesign the way I've mounted the front wheels as I think that I have a better idea for a cleaner look. The front ends are steerable. I made my own frames. The dark grey one is flat bar stock and the white one is rectangular tubing. The ends are L pieces. I am just going by sight on the wheelbase as I don't have access to what it actually is. Mighta, shoulda made them just a tad longer but they look close to me. As an aside it astounds me that these front tires can take the weight of these machines. Or to not dig into the dirt while in motion. Who knew ? Gonna start the mini next. And please remember that I only need to finish one by the deadline. It may turn out to be the wagon in my first post. LOL Pics and I'll include one of a modern tractor.

And you said I dished up a huge plate!..... Ha
You're gonna be building a half dozen or so identical engines before this is over!
Just kiddin
I Love these, been to several indoor pulls. My best friend built a multi engine Puller as his last model before he passed away.
Can't wait to see the Mini Rod , those are my favorites.
Good start
Jim

Thanks Jim. Sorry to hear about your best friends passing. You're part right but the engines may not be what you think they are . I'm thinking the mini will be the easiest to build. The bigger ones will require a lot more scratch-building. I need to fabricate the engine mounts for them next. That will be tough getting them all in the right spot. I'm not building a replica of any tractor. I have names for the two modified, have to come up with a name for the mini. I know the paint schemes for the mini and one modified. Not sure about the other one yet. That's all I'm doing right now anyway, accumulating things to paint once I can get my spray booth built. That's why I'm working on all three at once. I like mini's but prefer the modified. In drag racing there is one blown engine typically. These tractors often go up to 5. Nothing like cubic horsepower! Pic of the mini I am using for reference.

Hey Hey, I had a half decent day that I could paint (still outdoors) so I threw some on my original entry. Red to keep the Coke theme and thanks again to Joe for sending me the bottle cases.
