This is going to be sort of a special post.
I had mentioned a short time ago about some things my wife Leslie builds.
She was invited to post up here, but I wanted to wait until now.
Today is her Birthday (12/10) and tomorrow (12/11) is our Anniversary (38 years)
We actually first met on her BD, but I chose to get married the day after her BD, so she would always have her own day.
She Loves this site and all you guys. As I had said before she is very active in my hobby life and we look at the pro boards I'm a member of every day
This is her favorite.
Traditionally for over the past 10 years , she takes the day off so we can go to the Zoo (we have a nice Zoo 10 minutes from our house) and we feed the Giraffes.
But of course, because of what's going on the Zoo is closed. I feel bad for the animals, they seem to really enjoy the interaction with the people. Otherwise they are just sitting in jail.
This was Leslie last year feeding the Giraffes (yes it is T shirt weather here in Tucson in December)
Here is some stuff she builds
These are 3D puzzles
See that E-Z Build, don't believe everything you read....LOL
Here is what it consists of
Don't look that EZ to me... I read the instructions, while she puts them together
I built her a case for them
she has built 13 of them, a couple are in a different case. She also collects Elephants (has over 200) and Fairies, we just built her a couple Fairy villages.
This about the scale that they are
OK, yes I know this site is made up of real men and this is kinda girlie
so here's something a little edgy-er for you
Along with going to the Zoo, at this same time of the year we ride in the local Toy Parade (Several times on our Anniversary).
For those of you who are not familiar with this. It's a Parade of Motorcycles that Raises money and toys for kids.
It's pretty cool, they shut down part of the town we ride through, usually a couple thousand bikes, and thousands of people line the streets to watch
They have done it about thirty years, we've ridden in 25 of them. Of course this year it's cancelled. (but we will still donate toys, we always give Maisto Harleys)
This is her "Parade vest" with the pins and patches she has earned. (I actually have to put some more of her pins on).
The back
We ride to Tombstone quite a bit, it's about 2 hours away.
This is her regular riding vest, she doesn't want to lose pins off the other.
She looks pretty cool when all geared up, specially when she wears her gun. She's right handed, but wears it on the left, cause I wear mine on the right
We are an open carry state, and I have been doing so for 40 years, and her for 30. We like to exercise our rights that many have died for.
You know...use them or lose them.
She likes Rugers, the left is her carry gun a 9mm, and the right her purse gun a 380mm. It is also legal to conceal here without a license.
She is a responsible gun owner, and doesn't act like a tough guy with it on.
But I tell ya, this chick can shoot. LOL
Well, it is 4am, and she is going to wake up in an hour and go into her office (she works from home) to support my sorry butt.
She is going to be so excited to see this cause she really wants to part of this site, and thanks to our great Admins for making it possible with this category.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!
Thank-You guys for looking on and your support

Jim
ps: this not all she is getting for her Birthday, she is also getting this
