Hello guys, a very long time ago I began sculpting this fantasy figure in a crazy mood. It became a half sculpted shelf queen and it remained there until I got caught by the nasty c-virus. To kill time at the moments I felt better it became my goal to bring it over the finish line and here it is, my crazy fantasy warrior toad (70mm).     It was sculpted with Magic Sculp and painted with Humbrol/Revell enamels and oils. I hope it will put a smile on your face. Best regards, Guy |

I saw this a short while back and should have commented on it sooner. Sorry about that.
I think this is incredibly awesome being it was carved from your imagination, not someone's resin cast piece. It is extremely well done, at least to my eye.
If you plan to do another I'd be grateful to see the process you use with the Magic Sculpt material. I might try some myself at some point. If you do start another one please either make it a WiP or, better yet, put it in the tutorial section.

Thank you guys. Maybe I'll try to sculpt another one. It's fun to create a figure only existing in my imagination. AG I just gotta tell you, Leslie "studied" this, this morning. She was picking out every detail, the toad stools, the leaves, she adored the eyes. The blue on the handles is a great offset. I guess that is a by product of being married to a detail freak for 38 years This would have been amazing if it was just a store bought figure, but sculpting it, puts it in a league of it's own. One thing though, I am slightly concerned that this is in your imagination, are you sure you didn't sample a couple of those mushrooms before placing them in the scene. LOL Jim |
