I'm going to make a drag car outta this here Camaro. I think it's time I try my hand at some scratch building. Guess I gotta get my feet wet at some point.

Starting to get the chassis fitted. I really want to get it down as low as I can. I might just cut the rear tubs out completely and use thin styrene to give myself a little more room.

The thickness of the tubs can be 2 scale inches, which is a lot. Nice work.

I was referencing the tub on one of mine, which might have been thicker. yours are way under that, especially after removing all that material. Main point is, it sits much lower, by taking a little more effort. Also, on mine, didn't take the effort to follow the body contours as well as you did. Nice touch of detail. Keep it up. This is going to be really good.

This is a much slower pace than just putting together a kit. Ended up making my own wheel tubs. The other one were just to thick. Most of the roll cage is going to need mods or remade too.

Still need to trim the wheel wells just a little bit in the corners.
