Since I was re-doing a couple of older builds, I decidded to drag out a couple related projects as well. The blue Vicky is an old build (probably from the late 80's) that I found while going through boxes of my old models. Apparently it spent a few years on the shelf without being dusted. It will be re-incarnated as a drag car. The tan roadster is an 80's (?) re-release of an early 60's kit, and will be built as a 60's style, center steer speedster, inspired by a Weesner drawing. The black car is an original Model B roadster kit that I bought for some of the early 60's parts that were deleted from the re-issues. This one will be built as a stock 32 Model B (4 cylinder). Weesner drawing: A couple bits of AMT 32 Ford kit trivia: One of the more unusual changes to the tooling was omitting the spare tire wells in the fenders of the original kit- usually carry-over parts aren't re-tooled like that. Another is that, supposedly, the mounting points in the early 3 in1 "black" kits were designed to make engine swaps between kits easier, thus making the hemi from the roadster kit a "bolt-in" into the Vicky's frame.
