Since I haven't done it for a couple years, I went through some of the boxes that I have older models packed away in. Some were in bad enough shape, that they were cannibalized for parts. Others, that I forgot I had, will be refurbished for display.Victim #1 is an AMT 32 Ford coupe: Although not really what I'd consider a hot rod, it is non-stock colors and dual carbs- more of a "day 2" kinda thing. Even though I don't plan on doing any more than cleaning it up, it's easier to clean when dis-assembled. This was facilitated by the fact that I always use white glue for final assembly- it allows taking things apart without damage. It cleaned up pretty good with a bit of Novus, and is already partially re-assembled. Tom

Actually, I use mainly Novus #2, which seems to work great on just about any type of paint. I'll sometimes use 1 as a final polish on darker colors- gives a bit more shine on some paints, doesn't seem to make a difference on others. I only use #3 to polish out plastic that has been sanded.
