Many of you are familiar with the TV series “M*A*S*H*”, and might have noticed this major error. A UH-1 Huey helicopter model is hanging in Colonel Henry Blake’s office, and we all know that the Huey wasn’t introduced until 1956, which was 3 years after the Korean War ended. (Note: The model was built by Adam Gelbart, who was the son of Larry Gelbart, who was one of the producers.)

Remember the jet contrails on Daniel Boone TV series ? ...the pickup on the John Wayne movie the Undefeated ?...the tour bus in the Lord of the Rings ?..The water bottle in Downton Abbey ?...Film shows had a lot of stuff and mistakes that made it in the final cut....a LOT of westerns of the 50s used the wrong era firearms....War movies used a lot of the wrong era vehicles too.

LOL! I knew about that Huey for quite some time. I'll have to try and go through the others mentioned by Patrick and see if I can find them.
I do remember one guy I worked with at Knott's Berry Farm building Halloween Haunt. He was a prop master in Hollywood and told this story of something they did once. During one of the modern Godzilla movies; there's an underwater scene of Godzilla swimming in the Hudson River through New York. In that scene, they had placed a number of old wrecks and other debris to reflect all the crap that had been thrown in the Hudson throughout the decades. In the foreground, they placed a wreck of a Model T Ford...... with an R2D2 toy deliberately placed as the radiator cap, just to see if it would be noticed. In the first screen review, the producer and crew totally missed it. In the second one with the director, the director caught it and demanded it be removed. The producer, amused that they had fooled him once, told them to leave it in. As far as I know; it can still be seen in the movie.
