I have had LeBra and other brands of nose bras, bras, nose covers, front end covers, or whatever you may wish to call them on a LOT of my cars over the years. Usually, the only problem that might exist is that the nose bra doesn't lie down exactly as it should.
I put a LeBra brand nose bra on this Avenger of ours in the first week we owned it. My wife has run the car over a couple of taller car stops in parking lots and cut the lower portion of the nose bra in a couple of places. I guess I'm glad she did.
I ordered a new LeBra brand bra for it a while back because if the torn places on the old one. My helper kid and I took the old one off a few weeks ago. The bottom edge of the hood has rust bubbling up in 5 or 6 places. It's on the front and back edge of the hood. Fortunately, it was found before it became a really serious problem.
I ordered a can of PRM red paint and a can of clear coat of the same type from a place that specializes in touch up paint. I kept forgetting to tell my wife to bring home some fine, wet/dry sandpaper from the NAPA where she works. I finally remembered tonight and told her.
My point to this is to offer a warning to you guys if you happen to have any type of nose bra on your car. I'm going to punch 5 or 6 holes in the bottom edge of the part of the bra that mounts on the hood. That will allow water to seep out of the bra instead of getting trapped and causing rust to form.
Just a heads up for anyone with a nose bra.

That is a good tip to check on Steve if you use those... rusty cars are not a good thing due to trapped moisture!!!

Thanks for that heads up! My sister had a yellow '93 Mustang and it had one of things on it. When they took it off, they saw just how much the paint had faded. Under the bra was still bright yellow!

I can try that on my face mask, so my chin doesn't rust.

Be careful that it doesn't fade, Bruce. Then you'd have a two-tone chin!
