Mike,
Man we are on the same wave length.( as you can tell by my Avatar title, LOL) As much as I'm new, I'm trying to see as much as I can.
So instead of commenting on all your stuff, I just took the newest post, because I like them all.

Hi Mike,
I actually don't repaint a lot of Die Cast, usually lookin for quick projects, changing to better looking wheels or Redlines.
I do have a few repainted, I need to post
I'm working on a 1/64 Richard Petty Ramp truck and 68 Roadrunner, just got the paint and decals
I have been researching that Duplicolor paint you used , so plan to get some and try that original "Spectraflame" look that you achieved.
Thanks for the tip.

Hi Jim,
I am looking forward to seeing your Ramp truck and Roadrunner!
I am glad that you are going to try the Duplicolor paint! I found out that the paint can run easily. Light coats!!! For the finish that I got, I primed the body, painted it metallic silver, then the color coat, a clear coat, and finally I used rubbing compound and wax. I do the same with my plastic models. I am happy with the results!
