If I'm seeing that ad correctly, the Vitamin C 440 Magnum is a GTX. If that's correct, then that would be my pick. If not, then I'd definitely go with the Tor Red 340 car. I still like the performance the 340 provides.

And by the way. If anybody happens to run across ANY of those cars, in like-new condition and at those prices, be sure and let me know. LOL!

Wow! No "All the MOPARS" button?? LoL I was 15 in 1970, and my dad had a 1968 Dodge Coronet....4 door....slant six....three on the tree....no A/C....NO RADIO! UGGGGH!!! My first car was a '66 Coronet in 1973. It was a 4 door, but it had a V-8, automatic, A/C, and A RADIO! For this discussion here, put the Plum Crazy on the Charger and I'll take it!

I would take the Plum Crazy 426 Hemi 4 Speed!!! C'mon, Joe. Everybody would pick that one. I like seeing the slightly different mighty MOPARs. I don't think the GTX gets the proper recognition. It was truly a reasonably priced, gentleman's muscle car. And A-bodies most definitely are under-appreciated. But if you want to run around in a stodgy, old, run of the mill, Plum Crazy, Hemi, 4-speed E-body, well OK. LOL!

I owned a 1969 Dart GT back in the early 80's. Dark green, with green bucket seats.... except the driver's seat was covered in grey duct tape!

To each their own Steve!!! Lol!!! Yep. That's why they make all the different models. Just think how boring life would be with only one choice. Brrrr. It gives me chills just thinking about it. Just imagine that your only choice is a pea-green Yugo. WaaHaaaHaaaa!!!

I'd have to go with the Plum Crazy from the list of Mopars. Wouldn't need the hemi. A 340 would work. 2nd choice would be the Vitamin C. Both would need the 4 speed though.
I'm not sure how the voting is supposed to go. Are the choices listed for only vehicles sold in 1970?

Well then, I think I know what I'd get. Although I would have liked to have said the '70 Corvette coupe with the 390 hp 454/4spd or the E-type Jag my pick is very close to the listed price of the above Mopar's. My vote will correspond with my choice. I'd get one of these: www.motortrend.com/news/1970-datsun-240z/I have owned a '71 Z and a '77. I also have owned 3 280 ZXs and one ZX 2+2. My '77 was set up for auto-cross (timed racing around cones in a parking lot). It IS the car that I really learned how to drive in. Most fun you can have dressed, as they say .
