I have always wanted to do a Tiger in grunbraun so here I go. I recall Cliff did alot of DAK stuff so this one's for him. I'll not bore anyone with tales of how easy and smooth the build was, after all, it's a post seventies Tammy. Primer and basecoat. This is probably the last time I'll basecoat anything in enamel since Testors pulled their shenannigans I did acquire a set of fool tracks for this, just arrived yesterday so now it's time to get out the file and pin vise. I'm pretty good at getting track sag out of bandy tracks but Tigers are more difficult than most Regards, Mark

And smooth it is sir. Thanks for the input I shot PD number 800 yesterday Despite other pastimes I've moved this along some. Fool tracks done and painted, about a third of the way thru the pinwash. I finally broke down and purchased some MIG washes, should have done that much sooner as they are far better than the slop I used to mix. I'll mix up some fake mud and partly fill the track sections between the cleats Trying not to rush this one lest I bungle it Regards, Mark

Thanks gents So here is a rough layout of what I have in mind with most of the major elements in place The Kubelwagen is a shelf queen that did not fit into the Rommel visits idea I had awhile back but I think it'll work here. The base will be irregular and trimmed accordingly once glue dries, and I'll toss in a roadsign with other assorted junk as the scene dictates. Will be trying AK Desert Sand acrylic ground for this as I am tired of working with Celluclay. Regards, Mark
