Had a late night looksie at a few sites and Squadron was having another sale on a plane I wanted to pick up for someone as a gift and then I saw something that caught my interest even though its a scale I don't normally buy in vehicles... I'm pretty sure I pushed the order button on an Airfix 1/32nd vehicle along with the plane... I shouldn't look at model sites late at night... We shall see soon enough!!!

That's fun Jed, did he ever build it? To be honest Joe I can't remember,I am still I. Touch with him so I will check, I did the fire engine from the same period which I remember as being impressively big,the ladders I think could have been threaded to enable them to be extended. ( not 100% sure though)

Yes, they can be threaded so they move. I have one of these and even started it before having to box it up due to loss of certain vital parts. Sad thing is I think it came that way with the parts already missing. I think I may have a second one in the stash to do so someday I'll get one of these done.

Yeah, I found mine too. It's actually a dual kit with both the fire truck and the bus included. If I can clear more of the queue; I can pull them out to start. That will be quite some time to come though.
