Turns out a neighbor right up the street had an alcohol funny car. He sold it as he didn't have anyone to help him work on it. He now helps a friend of his with two cars I believe. My heavy lifting days are over but I told him if they need an extra hand I'd be more'n happy to help. As are most things now there is no drag racing. When it gets back up I hope to be able to go along. It would fulfill a dream. When I get the chance to talk with him again I plan to get more skinny on what car(s) he is helping on. I'll pass that along too. He owned this car:  |

I might be on the hunt for a Revellogram 1/24 Chi-Town Hustler or Wild Willie Borsch kit as they look like the closest to this car I can find in a kit. I have a 1/16 Hawaiian but I have other plans for it.  |

The Ford does look cool. I have to get more info on it. I need to talk with him again. My work schedule has prevented me from doing that so far this week but I hope to see him this weekend.
I know his first BB/FC was a 1984ish Corvette. He sold it as he couldn't race it in the nostalgia class. He bought the Charger with those proceeds. Best I may able to do on the Corvette is another pic of a pic.

I had a brief talk with him today. I got a little clarification. The Ford was/is not his car. It is the car he helps on. This car has 3 different bodies that they switch between. The Ford shown, a Vega and a '56 Chevy.
I gave him my phone number and I will be texting him my email address as he said he would send me pics that he has. I saw one pic of the '56. Nice.
I will update when I can.
