Back in 2006 my wife and I drove from Adelaide to Brisbane for a holiday about 1500 K in distance. I could not bear to not be building so I took this kit with me. Not wanting to have flamables in the van I decided to use water based paints. Basically I bought paints from a craft shop. I painted the engine, interior and chassis by brush with this paint. When we came home I painted the body with enamal, I painted the chrome with silver paint as I had not heard about BMF or Alclad then. I might give the old girl a make over with BMF one day. These are pics of the interior.

That looks great mon... those colours on the interior are nice and vivid. A lot of acrylic paints are quite thin so you don't get a strong colour without many coats, they're also a darn sight easier to use than enamels with some very different shades available. Nice work and definitely a candidate for rejuvenating!
