Some of you may know me from Tapatalk app for those that don't well I like live steam models, so what are live steam models or steam driven model I hear you ask? Well they are usaly scale models of steam engines but not also are they models they are models that run just like RC Stuff only using steam to power them. Yes they are working models which is amazing but can be dangerous especially with somme of the bigger steam models. At the moment most of my collection is Mamod Live Steam Models. If any of you have any questions or want advice on buying steam models I am more than happy to help but I am no expert in them just an enthusiastic person who likes to restore them. The 2 models in the pictures are my 2 Mamod SE1 Engines as you can see one striped and getting a clean up I am not going to fully restore that model as it is totally original and was bought as birthday present for my Dad when he was 14 and he passed it onto me.

Oh that would be Mamod SR1 I honestly wouldn't know but I will bow to your knowledge, I'm at work just now,if I remember I'll look when I get home Mamod made things simple with there model names, the MM1 & 2 stood for Mamod Minor, SE1, 2, 3 & 4 stood for Steam Engine, SA1 Steam Automotive, SR1 Steam Roller, ect ect usaly the leading letters where a clue tho what the engine was.
