I like doing the factory phantom-type builds. And I kinda lean toward the Personal Utility Vehicle, you know, the Ranchero/ElCamino types.
Here is one I did a few years back. I started with a Monogram 1986 Buick Grand National and a Revell 1978 Chevy ElCamino. I took the front clip and the wheel arches from the Buick and grafted them onto the Elky body. I shortened the Buick interior to fit the new body and used the turbocharged 3.8 V-6 from the Buick kit. Here's how it ended up:

Thanks, guys! I enjoyed this one, but I had to back up a couple times and go at it again to get it right!! I recommend that everyone tackle a phantom project at least once! Do one up like the factory shoulda. Keep it "factory-like" and not custom looking.
