Just to show I wasn't completely out of the building world here is my 98% finished 223 scout car. I need to add some paint to a couple spots and throw on a couple pieces of stowage to complete it. I threw in some pics of the interior before I buttoned her up so that I could have them for myself. I think it turned out pretty good considering the majority of it is all scratch built. This Tamiya kit doesn't come with much of an interior and that which is in there is not very accurate,, at least not according to the pics i found on line. As I said in another thread I am working on getting better at interiors and this build definitely tested me and helped me to do interiors. I apologize for the poor pictures of the exterior, I guess I need to work on picture taking as well. Well there you go I hope you enjoy them.

Guys thanks for all the great comments. It was my first real foray(sp) into scratch building everything in the interior was scratch built except the radio and the grenade rack. the seat, the bin, turret frame for the MG were all built using pictures. Trust me when I say there are not to many interior 223 shots out there on the internet. Heck I found the 223 operators manual online and it didn't even have pictures in it. Well it had some but nothing for what I was looking for. The Bin was the piece I am the most happy with. Besides the top hinge I even built a lock for the front of it.
