'65 Chevy Impala

This is from the Hasegawa "American 66" series, even though any Impala officianado would spot the '65 tail-lights. All these kits are curbside and I didn't fancy opening the hood so I just pro-streeted it and modded the very basic interior tub to liven it up a bit.
Paint is some generic brand British Racing Green with BMF stripes and a few parts box decals. Think 'modern day rebuilt weekend racer'.

I like the color and the BMF stripes are a great touch! In the real world, it happens more times than you'd think, a different year model front end being placed on a car. Maybe if you wrecked your car, the scrap yard would have one that is off by a year or two, but it would still bolt up! Well-done job on a borderline quality kit!
