Well, I missed my self-imposed deadline of 1/1/2020 for the release of PawnOfSale version 1 by 5 days, but my stress level is coming down:
As of last night, I am no longer in hard-core, balls to the wall development mode. I am now in bug-fix mode which means relaxed release schedules, etc! I'm not expecting to turn a profit until mid 2021 at the earliest, but things are moving right along!
- 12/27/2019 - The Slanted Shed was officially registered as a business in the State of Indiana. YAY! (I am now the owner of the business starting off $78,000 in debt!)
- 12/30/2019 - I purchased my mobile development workstation (Project laptop died that day, so I bought a 4-year old Dell Precision laptop - 8-core i7, 16GB of ram, 8GB video card, 15" HD display, 250GB SSD drive)
- 1/1/2020 - Groundwork laid for 4 new products to be brought to market by 2021 (Small Business Portal, Restaurant Cookbook/shopping app, Financial Tracking app, my own range of Bootstrap Themes. --These will all be plugins to the flagship product)
- 1/1/2020 - Website for The Slanted Shed came online--albeit in maintenance mode!
- 1/6/2020 - PawnOfSale ver 1.0.0120b1 was delivered to my one and only current client! (This is a pre-production beta release)
- 1/8/2020 - The Slanted Shed Wiki was officially brought online! (Development wiki)
- 7/1/2020 - Planned transition to an LLC
- 8/1/2020 - Expected market releaes of PawnOfSale version 1 full!
- 9/1/2020 - Planned onboarding of 2-3 unpaid interns from the university where I work (One Marketing major to help me market this thing, one Computer Science major to help me add some new kick butt features, and possibly a business major to help with that)
