It was suggested that we should see who would like to join in a possible memorial group build to our three brothers who have passed on way too soon.  Carl, Zod and Cliff. onlinescalemodelers.proboards.com/board/112/osm-memorial-roll All three built lots of armor although Carl also built planes so that would qualify as well if we do this. The time frame would be the whole year to start and finish so you could fit it in with your other builds should you want to join. Any thoughts my friends??? If it is a go I will be doing a diorama of The Rat Patrol...  The staff team have talked about it and all are willing to move forward if we get enough players who will join in to honor our friends!!! Who is in??? |

My build would consist of two 1/35th Tamiya Jeeps modified to the ones in the show, all four of the main characters modified from different figure kits and a sand dune or two to jump... little big project...   |

Cliff and I had quite a rivalry and friendship from the days of the LEM onward

As I have already committed to a Carl F Memorial Tribute Build on another boards, I'll be adding that to this one as well for all three of these guys. This is what I'll be doing for them:  Yes it is 1/35th scale because I'm also building it for my SoCal AMPS club's Patton Group Build for the next West Coast Nationals. Stay tuned; I expect to be starting this in a couple weeks or so. |

As I said, I'll likely build the Secret Santa kit Zod sent me many years ago, but as this is slated to have an "all year window", it will probably be number 3 or 4 in my list of next builds. Likely looking at early to mid summer as a starting point.
