Thank you BUCKY. I have a Tyco train set from the late 1960’s. As of a couple of years ago it still worked! Some day I would like to set up the train set and the slot car set together on a table. This will probably be after I retire.

Man that track brings back memories. As a child never had one. always wanted one but never got on. All my friends had but I didn't my one friend got his for Christmas one year, and we spent all day after Christmas playing with it.

My wife and I had a great time racing! She is very competitive! My grandchildren and I had a great time also! I think slot car racing is fun! |

Now that is totally cool! I remember back in the late 60's going to a track in some building, huge track, with my older brothers and watched while they raced. There were a lot of folks there and it was a wide track, musta fit at least 6-8 cars. Ok, I'm dating myself, but I was around 6 or 7yrs old, and it was fun. that's all I remember, lol.

Thats the kind of tract we had at our hobby shop in Lancaster not far from Mikes house!!! 8 Lanes and 1/32nd scale cars if I remember correctly...

Thats the kind of tract we had at our hobby shop in Lancaster not far from Mikes house!!! 8 Lanes and 1/32nd scale cars if I remember correctly... The track at our hobby shop was 1/25 scale. My cars fit on the track. We went there many times, had lots of fun! You also came over to my house to race on my track. Fun fun fun!!! You are welcome to come to my house any time to race slot cars!!! |

My wife and I enjoy racing slot cars! She likes the 1/25 scale set the best. The cars stay on the track better. However, she figured out how to knock my car off the track coming out of the curve!
