Robert, I'm thinking it's time for something different.... I hear what you're saying, Mark, but if we go this way, it will be "different of the different".
What do I mean? I mean that it won't just be a change of genre, but also a change of "style".
Interesting to me that no one has picked the MONSTER kit yet...

The members have spoken (or rather clicked on a box)! And I will abide by the choice they have made.
In somewhat of a surprise (to me), the one kit that was an afterthought and determined literally by a random number generation is the kit selected. Unlike the other four kits, I had not even made any preliminary plans for the halftrack. Therefore, I will need a day or two to come up with a plan before I create the build thread and start posting progress.
Thanks to the eight of you who voted and I hope I can do justice to this kit.

I've spent a good 3 or 4 hours today reading through various online sites and numerous reference books in an effort to determine exactly what time frame, theater, and paint scheme would be appropriate for this vehicle and whittle down the options to the one I will ultimately use. At the moment, I've narrowed the possibilities to three general vehicles with unique paint schemes. Even though I have a VA eye appointment tomorrow, I will continue to do research and refine the options. This is one of the parts of modeling that I really do enjoy.

Excellent! No matter which kit you build, it's always worth watching!
