Just finished this one up, the old Heller kit of the French Submarine Daphne. The kit was built mostly from the box, though I did a little extra work to bring this 40 year kit up to snuff. I scribed in the deck hatches, filled the door on the port side of the sail, and added new periscopes made from Albion Alloys tube. The rigging lines that run from the deck to the aft end of the sail were made from EZ Line elastic rigging thread.
All in all this was a nice kit that went together well enough and it was kind of fun to take an old Heller kit and spruce it up a bit and wind up with a decent result. I really enjoyed it.
