Here’s the latest from the 35th AFV lines.. hope you like ‘em...
Tamiya Panther G “Steelwheels” - Replaced the vinyl “laccy band” track with Bronco indy links and threw an Aber “grill” only set at it, otherwise its oob. Sprayed with Tamiya Acryls.
Trumpeter KV-1 Ekrenami. Straight from the box, painted and weathered with Tamiya Acryls and a teeny pinwash on the engine grilles afterwards.
Takom SMK. Again oob, a viceless kit in all departments. Painted and weathered with Tamiya Acryls.
That’s it for this time, more on the line progressing slowly. Please keep the laughter to a dull roar til I’ve left the room - thanks ! 😁
Regards to All OB 😉

Nice builds, did you use Tamiya rattle cans or an air brush?

Air Brush all the way Jed.. Sparmax DH-03 - a cheap double action brush, quite sufficient for the purpose, no need to rouse my Badger Renegade from its slumbers (except for the Panther’s camo, which was freehanded with it !)

Brilliant work once again OB. Very nice. I also noticed you didn't add markings/decals. Personal choice or did these particular vehicles not have them?
Keep them coming, as I know you will. Looking forward to the next batch.

Thanks all ! 👍
@duke - bit of both actually, Panthers with the horizontal camo on the turret generally didn’t carry markings and there’s plenty of unmarked KV photos about. The SMK kit does have markings, but I chose to not use them.

Thanks Jed
Broken about a week ago when a mate unintentionally slammed a car door on it, its settled down fairly well, I can do most things as usual as long as I stop when it starts to hurt - its bandaged into a fibreglass half cast - I’ve broken that wrist 3-4 times in my life (broken the other one 7 times), so I’m not unaccustomed to living with a busted wrist (although I’ll never get used to the pain at the time of the break) 😖
Not looking forward to when it starts to itch towards the end of the healing process (5-6 weeks away yet !)
Regards OB 😉 of dem’s da breaks (sorry !)😖

I'm sad to hear this, but at least you know how to cope; given all the practice you've had. Take care of it and do what you can when you can.
