Since I've been out of the hobby a while all of the local shops have closed and gone away in my home town. The only place left that really sells anything is Hobby Lobby and Michaels crafts and there selection is limited at best.
Kits I never really stopped buying over the years as I would find ones I like.
But my question to you guys is there a good place to order paint, glue, supplies and the like?

Amazon has kits and supplies but I will only buy there after I check the prices from other places as many times they are higher but sometimes you will find something no-one else has from a foreign dealer, remember that it takes a long time to get them from the Orient... took a month and a half on one kit...

The other thing I do is if we are taking a trip somewhere I check online to see if they have local hobbyshops and try to squeeze a trip in to get some stuff.

Out of US, you can try HobbyEasy from Hong Kong. I buy there since 2011 and never had a problem. The shipping rates are very good too!

That hobby connection is in my town. They used to be a big RR and model store. Now that the kid has taken over it's 99% RC stuff.

Also M&M models, Asuka Models online shop, Luckymodel, and HobbyLink Japan. There are also a plethora of resin suppliers for conversion sets and the like. And don't count out eBay, especially for stuff that comes out of China like Meng and Trumpeter. I've only had one transaction go bad, and eBay made it right within days. Just take your time with eBay. Many of these vendors initially list with higher prices, then as more suppliers enter the market the prices go down. Example: Trumpeter's new M983A2 HEMTT tractor with M870A1 trailer. First listing I saw was $142 plus shipping. I waited a while, and pulled the trigger on mine at $93 with free shipping. One supplier has it listed now for $71. At that price, I might just get a second one...
