Put them side by side for pictures when you both are done. The Tamiya is scaled properly, the Academy isn't. That will be obvious when both are in the frame together. I do try to keep a few Academy TDs in the stash at all times, though. They are superb sources of interior parts for any Sherman variant.

Progress? I'm thinking seriously about finishing the Academy kit I shelved a number of years ago, curious, especially as to how it compares to the Tamiya kit (in my stash).
