Hi guys! As the R&R paint let me down, I started the build of this Meng's gem. 5 hours to build and a bit more to start the paint work. I did a little color modulation and painted the large cross using a hand made mask. Hope you like mates! I'll make some masks to paint the skulls too. Before someone ask, I built and started to paint the tracks too! ACC&?W

Most impressive! Man, you're building faster than I am! Bring it home Marco; I can't wait to see how you do the skulls.

Great job Marco, I'm not to sure about WW1 or WW2 but in my personal experience at times we never had stencils to paint call signs etc onto our vehicles and either made our own or hand painted directly onto the vehicles, especially in Gulf 1 (Op Granby) so things were often a bit rough!! Yours however are spot on

Thank you a lot guys! Jed, I knew that, but my skills are very limited when we talk about paint using a brush. That's why I used stencils.

Stunning work Marco! Even with stencils you managed to make them look hand painted.

You've done a great job Marco, I honestly believe if a modeller was to copy a vehicle with rough ID markings it would only attract mainly criticism, I must admit myself it doesn't look right even on the real thing!!

Thank you! Jed, I think exactly like you did about the hand painted marks. After finish the skulls, I applied some gloss, dark wash (without much care) and flat varnish... Nearly there... Lets see how it'll look when done. Hope you like! ACC&?W
