Nicely done Jed. The pigtails are a great touch. These still can be found in Flanders battlegrounds and local farmers still use them.

Thanks AG, A friend of mine has a couple of them and I'm very jealous of the fact, I've done a tour of the battlefields with my father in law and found the total of 0 !! I would have Definately picked one up if I'd seen any on the side of a field

Thanks Joe, I'm going to make a sort of jig, scrap wood with a couple of panel pins aqualung distance apart to bend the wire around to get some uniformity, I found a diagram showing the heights of different types of pickets which fell I haven't lost I will put up, thanks again
