Well got some shading and highlighting done to the main uniform followed by two washes of the base colour which looks pretty good to the naked eye but not so good in the pics blown up! Two layers of dark leather to the boots but I might revert to all black. Starts nights tonight so that's all the painting until possibly Monday.
As usual ALL criticism accepted and worked on if possible,many thanks in advance

Hi all in my absence over yesterday and today I mannaged some time in the cave,the figure for me is 99% finished,I will try and get a short term base done as quick as I can but here are some updates and two pics including the base to be used when the second figure is completed.

Thanks AG, A friend of mine has a couple of them and I'm very jealous of the fact, I've done a tour of the battlefields with my father in law and found the total of 0 !! I would have Definately picked one up if I'd seen any on the side of a field

Thanks Joe, I'm going to make a sort of jig, scrap wood with a couple of panel pins aqualung distance apart to bend the wire around to get some uniformity, I found a diagram showing the heights of different types of pickets which fell I haven't lost I will put up, thanks again
