I received this today. It didn't look bad, but looks are deceiving, upon removal of the chassis I found it to be quite the glue bomb. But, I do love a challenge! First order was to see if I had a boot to replace the glue melted original. I found one in the stash that will work, so let the fun begin.I milled down the boot so that I can get at the glue, then with a Dremel with a dental bit I started to remove the interior. once that was removed, I could see how bad, (well?), the windshield was, it was heavily glued in all around. With handy Dremel in hand I started to carefully remove the windshield. As you can see from the photos, I was successful and the windshield frame is still intact. Next is a trip to the pond to strip the white paint. Thanks you for your interest, You can also follow the build here: public.fotki.com/B67ville/model-inventory/01501-01600/01595-1959-buick-in/

I think the '59 Buick is one of GM's best looking cars. I'm in for the re-do on this one!!
