I know this is an old thread but I'm sorta new here. I like motorcycles and this build piques my interest. I like Norton's, nothing like a "Snort'n Norton". This kit looks like it could produce a pretty cool looking ride. I understand that it is an old Protar kit and some parts leave a bit to be desired. You are kinda stuck with what you have unless you have superior skills. I don't, so I know. I'd like to lace my own wheels but I've never tried. Didn't want to invest in what I'd need only to get frustrated.
If you have some time between your other builds I sure wouldn't mind seeing some progress on this one.
