This thing has been mocking me for several years now, so it's time to get 'er done. I bought this kit a long time ago, did the running gear and tracks, and put it away, mostly due to the fact that there was so much information coming out about this tank and I was overwhelmed with a form of Modelers' Syndrome, the "What if I di it wrong?" strain. So I put it away. Well, now I'm better, so I drug out the lower hull, below: ....and started with the upper, taking a set of Legends fuel tanks out to play with too, which has the fender supports in brass..... So i had to do those, you know? I have a bunch of printed matter, fuel line diagrams and the like, and quite a bit of AM parts in there too, so maybe I'll build this up as a Syrian tank being shoved out of the way by the Magach5 that's almost done now, putting it's big "obstacle clearing device" to good use. The Legends stuff is good, here's to hoping the fuel lines don't make me go blind.

Fun times y'all. So I managed to break an idler axle, started the fix and quickly fond some .040" wire inside the mount. Flashback time: I'd tried to adjust the track tension before, so now I used some spare parts from something, no idea what, and did it again. While I was there, and since I'd gone so some trouble to add detail to the idler adjusters themselves, I used a couple of fittings from a Trump KV to add some detail, correct or not I don't care, to the inside of the idler wheels themselves. I figured since I cut the fenders off, making the inside of the idlers visible, I should do something.... Then it was glacis time, adding the kit detail parts and the Legends driver's periscope washer parts. That was it for the evening.... Like the look of this, glad to see you're going to finish It. I've got a Miniart 54 on the bench but finding it really hard to keep it going
