so here I am looking forward to my week off and a good bit of painting, then I go and bust my glasses leaving me to rely on my work glasses which is like looking through a car windscreen covered in flies!! I'm struggling to paint in my reading glasses so I'm now awaiting new glasses!! ive tried the illuminated magnifier but I can't judge the distance between brush and kit 😬😬 on the plus side I've cut the grass ( I think it was ours!!) hung a new curtain rail which surprisingly has turned out level! Moan over, thanks for reading and happy fetling

Sorry Jed, I picked up some inexpensive readers when I broke mine before that worked for close up work...

Jed, I hope you get your glasses soon. And I'm sure the neighbors are enjoying their new-cut lawn. LOL!
I feel fortunate in that all I have to do when I sit down at the hobby bench is remove my glasses and set them aside. I can see everything very well without them. The problem comes when I forget where I set them down! LOL! I've taken to hanging them from the light above my workbench....

Try not to feel too bad Jed. I've lost much of my vision in my right eye, I always have a hard time judging distance. But I still love modeling and just do my best.
