In ‘62 I was a bet between my 15-year old dad and 13-year old uncle. My dad told my uncle he would my uncle he was never going to get married and have kids so they bet $20 on it. My dad lost $20 in ‘76 when I was born. (He lost a lot more than that because he kept loaning my loser uncle money over the years! haha!)

I wasn't even born yet; still a hint of a twinkle in my mom's eye. This is still awesome to see.

I was born in August of '62, so I wasn't yet the Matchbox and Hot Wheels consumer I became later. I recognized a few from the film as being part of my collection of toy cars. The Matchbox vehicles I favored, when I could wheedle grandma to buy one, were the Super Kings trucks. I remember lobbying hard for the yellow & green Dodge semi with two big dump trailers; I think it cost $4.50 at the local toy store. A small fortune back then, and I can't touch good examples on eBay today.

Fast and Loud was the show. Gas Monkey Garage is the shop in Texas. They did a Hot Wheels '68 Corvette, and a '63 Ford Econoline pickup.
