Got the base started. Now that I've gotten used to it I like working with foam much better as it's cheaper and much easier to sculpt terrain variation with



Figures. The model came with two that looked pretty good until I got paint on them. The facial molding was awful, a throwback to the seventies style Tammy figure molding where faces looked like they'd been blown off and reconstructed by a really bad plastic surgeon. Accordingly, into the garbage bucket they went as life's too short to struggle with poorly molded figures. The full figure is Masterbox and the half figure is who knows as the parts came out of the junk box. MiniArt heads are being used as they at least look human



Much to my disgust I'm almost out of fine grain ground paste so this'll be kind of stalled until Sprue Brothers ponies up some more

Roadway ruts done with air drying clay


This stuff almost always shrinks a bit and cracks so it needs some filling


I was gonna order some more MIG ground goo, then I thought better of it. Instead I diluted some white glue, spread it on the surface, and dumped a bunch of dirt from the garden on it


Kitty litter roadside gravel and rocks. I put the stuff where I wanted it then fixed it in place with diluted white glue and a pipette


Static grass. I'd have liked it longer but the applicator I have does not play well with long fiber


I'll record steps of painting this in the same manner as I feel some may find it interesting
