I started this yesterday for work for another department...it is a new engineering "think space," complete with leather couches, 70" flat screen tv, snacks, etc. I cut up 1/2" x 2" x 4" spruce blocks and glued to a 1/4" thk. lluan backing board. I used highlighters and markers for the colours, lightly sanded and coated with polyurethane. The lluan was painted with cheap acrylics.
