Painting newer car black strip windows...

Working on my 2012 Vette I ran across the good old black edge windows... how to do it best and still have it look good???  So off to Wally World for some green "Frog" painters tape!!!  It lays down nice and doesn't bleed under the edges like other tapes!   I covered the whole inside of the window, took a pencil and drew when I wanted the line to go, cut it with a new xacto blade and pealed off where it would be black!!!  Took flat black paint and a brush and off to the races by painting just the inside with two coats... let it dry and peel the tape off, voila black edges that look like the real deal!!!  Give it a try, very easy!!!

Great tip, bro! I've seen builds where this step was left off, and the windows don't look good on an otherwise nice build!

I didn't realize till the yellow one was done, but it should have had them as well... luckily it has a black window frame so not as noticeable without the black on the glass...
