Just a few pictures from a train kept at the depot where I work. The coaches themselves were mainly originally used on the London to Brighton mainline,in their present guise they have been used in films including Murder On The Orient Express

Hi, trains in one form or another have been my work since leaving the army in 96,I've worked my way up from totally un-skilled to a level 1 engineer, including going to college at the age of 49 to get a qualification in engineering to enable me to gain level 1 status,I've controlled them in the yard,managed the cleaners,driven them for 3/4 years and then went engineering!!

The Alaska Railroad isn't as opulent but was an amazing comfortable ride and the trip was amazing... highly recommend it if you ever get a chance to do Anchorage to Fairbanks!!! Wildlife and views you have never seen before!!!
