So... I would appreciate it ya’all could pray for my little girl Abby for the next 4 months. In 23 hours she will be boarding a plane for Hungary. A week later she will be flying to Lithuania to study abroad.
I know that the Lord is in control, but I am sure you know how hard it is to just hand it all over to him. I work for and she attends a good Christian university and she will be studying at another one that my university works with every semester. She will be going to Estonia, Latvia, Moscow for her classes while there. She may be going to Rome and Amsterdam for some sight seeing.
Hard to let my little girl go!

Cool connections. Her roommate is a missionary kid based in Hungary so she will have guide around Budapest  Driving my boss’ van to Chicago so we have to be EXTRA careful. Would have driven the fusion but people keep asking to go! |

My little girl has been at the university for 2 days now. It’s a little stressful right now for her because she has a 120 euro stipend for food each month. OUR university taught them some Lithuanian so they can bu the food they need, but when she got there, the grocery store nearest the college has everything in Russian. The first night she planned spaghetti but bought tomato paste instead of sauce, so she ate a granola bar. She got good ingredients today though. This is the former KGB/Nazi Prison near the university. KGB used it during both Soviet occupations of Lithuania and by the Nazi’s during WWII. Her tour guide pointed out that this was one of the newer building in Vilnius, Lithuania. It was built in 1855.  |

This is the castle she told us she was staying in....Next day she told us that this is a few miles from the campus. It was built in 1405.  |

That’s awesome Joe! She loves the city. Say’s it’s so very beautiful. As I look at the pictures that she sends through, I can’t help feeling a little envious. I can’t wait to see ALL of her pictures from this trip.
