Well this was my plan tonight but I got sidetracked by a Skype call I started to mask off the trim that I'm going to paint it black but I'm going to have to do that tomorrow at some point lol

Spent the last hour masking off the trim on my Coronet model. Painted the trim pulled the tape off it looks like crap. So I decided to forgo it and was able to save the painted body at least and strip off the paint from the trim. Moving on not going to bother with that again lol

Nice save and congrats on getting such a good looking paint job. As for the masking, just keep burnishing it down and that will help reduce that bad line. Sometimes I've found that, if you coat the lower paint with a clearcoat, then mask and paint and then remove the mask; if you have a rough line, you can take a wooden stick and scrape the rough parts off leaving a fine, straight line.

This has been worth the time it's taking! Interior is first rate! That yellow stands out very well, and the black stripes really set it off! I'm looking forward to the finish, but don't rush it!!

Thank you all for the comments so far I know I tend to not say thank you enough but thank you and we're almost there. I figure another day or two in my case that could probably mean a week because I tend to not touch things for a couple of days but anyways we're almost there
