When we lived in Bremerton Washington, a friend’s mother owned a ceramics shop. There I found this oval base. I sanded it. It was fired. Then I painted it. This piece of wood was in my garage. I routered the top edge. I now have a base.

Here is a base that my daughter made for me! She made this in her ceramics class at the university.

Thank you very much! I love Leigh Anna’s road to nowhere! I love how it has a vanishing point! It makes the car look like it is on its way to nowhere!
