This was given to me by the owner of the repair shop I take my cars to.     The cars are Mercedes Benz.  Kelley and I were not thrilled with the loops, so I changed the layout.  I like this slot car set. It works well! |

All you have to do is FLOOR IT!!! They go around the loops!!! Slowing down to make the turn was a learning experience!

Talking about back in the day. In 1968 (I think) my parents bought me a 1/24 scale Eldon slot car set! I still have it!!! A couple of years ago, maybe three Kelley said, I set it up. It worked beautifully!!! Kelley and I had a great time racing!!! She won!!!

Wow! I had a couple 1/25 scale slot cars, but no track. There was a slot car arena at the local mall where some of us boys would take our cars and race.

There was a hobby shop in Lancaster Ca. Where I would race my cars. Fun times!!!

It would be nice to have a place here in northern Utah to take my slot cars to and race them. I would probably be the oldest person there! That’s OK!

The old hobby shop was called Hobby Fair and on Ave I was Smith Brothers Hobby.

I do remember Smith Brothers Hobby. They had a good selection of models. I also remember riding our bikes all over the desert south of my house! That area now has houses on it.
