Usually on Sunday when the rest of the family is in taking a nap, I like to walk around the yard with the dogs or hang out in my shop. This our back yard today:

Red barn not mine but most of the rest in that pic is. 12 years ago when Sara and I got married it was an ugly muddy mess from just getting septic installed. 2 years later it wasn’t much better. Since then I’ve planted grass 3 times to have the yard look like this. We’ve done what we wanted and made it ours. It’s Sunday afternoons when all the soreness, injuries and sweat feels worth it

We have more plans that will turn this into our own little 1.4 acre sanctuary away from the stress of the world!

Yeah, The plan this year was a whole outdoor theater area, but that's slowly slipping out of reach for this year. Have big plans for what used to be the pond out back (behind the outhouse and in front of those trees), but I have a vision and I don't wanna rush it!
