20 odd years ago I bought a hull of a pond yacht to build for my son who is now 25, I mentioned this on another thread and was asked for some pics,for the life of me I can't find the thread but I've been in the loft today and remembered the request so here it is. I bought some plans and some bits and pieces,scaled the plan down and rebuilt something resembling a yacht,as my son wanted it ready the day it was bought!! it isn't as good as it could have been but it has been used on ponds and in the sea before retiring to the loft.I used scrap ply for the deck and cabin,and dowel for masts etc,the mast was swapped for a bamboo cane after a mishap 😬😬. The hull is 19" long. The colour is Morris Dove Grey from the 63 Morris Minor I had back then. The hull was from the 60's I believe and I don't know what happened to the second from last pic 😳

Thanks guys,it will probably stay in the loft until any grandchildren arrive or I'm forced to have a clear out!!

That's 100% nostalgic, therefor you should name it "Nostalgic Pearl" or something like that. Cool floating beans Jed !
